You were designed for
matrimony
to be delightfully resigned
to only one
in a strange sort
of comfort love
that i could not endure
that embrace of eternity
that dedication
to lasting long
is the sort of thing
i fear the most

for I wasnt made
to obligate
to be had and held

it ishere
my friend
that our midns part
and perhaps it best this is so
for eternity cannot embrace
circumstance
and moments cannot see
